An immersive experience of seas and oceans at the Puig Vela Clàssica
The Puig Vela Clàssica regatta in Barcelona wanted to offer guests an immersive activity in keeping with the maritime mood of the evening.

How we approached this project
Phase 02
The opportunity
The audience at a classic regatta is already thinking about the sea. All that was needed was to carry that feeling below the surface, where most guests had never been.
Phase 05
The solution
Virtual reality equipment hire with themed content and staff on site: an activity that fits into the event without stealing the limelight.
Phase 03
The work
We used four Oculus Quest 2 headsets running simultaneously and in sync, with a selection of 360º maritime experiences and staff managing the flow of users.
Phase 04
The result
The area stayed busy all evening. The 360º maritime experiences let guests descend to the seabed without leaving the marquee, which fits naturally with the spirit of the regatta.
