Meta VR Glasses hire
The device

Why hire Meta VR Glasses

This is the first Meta headset that weighs what a pair of sunglasses weighs: 100 grams, against the 515 of a Quest 3. It manages that by taking the computer off your head — there is no processor and no battery in the glasses, they connect over a fibre optic cable to a compute unit you keep in your pocket. That split changes what you can do at an event. In its favour: someone can wear them far longer without tiring, and the image is the best Meta has made. Against it: there is one more cable and one more device per person, and that shapes your set-up, your queue turnover and your charging logistics.

Optional services

Four services you can add

The hire covers the equipment. Set-up, your content, custom development and staff are booked separately and quoted according to what your event needs.

Optional

Setting up the devices

We prepare them before they leave: accounts created, kiosk mode on, network configured, brightness and IPD adjusted and battery at 100%. Nobody has to fight a menu on the day of the event.

Optional

Installing your content

We load your application, your 360º video or your experience onto every unit and leave them synchronised so they start on their own and play the same thing on every headset.

Optional

Custom applications

If you have no content, we build it. Applications of our own for this device: product configurator, training, virtual showroom or brand game, with your identity and your objectives.

Optional

Specialist staff

Technicians who seat each guest, adjust the headset, explain how it works, answer questions and keep hygiene and turnover going all day.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about hiring Meta VR Glasses

Can they be hired yet?
No, and be wary of anyone who tells you otherwise. Meta announced them at Connect in September 2026 and ships them in spring 2027. What we are doing now is taking reservations, so we can allocate the first units in order of request as soon as we have them.
What changes compared with a Meta Quest 3?
The weight, and where the computer sits. A Quest 3 weighs 515 grams and carries everything on your head; these weigh 100 and the computing lives in a separate unit on a cable. For the attendee that means being able to stay inside far longer without feeling the weight. For your set-up it means one more cable and one more device per person.
Do they work for an event with a lot of people?
It depends on the format. For a seated demo, a cinema room or a product launch they are ideal: the low weight allows long sessions. For a trade show queue with fast turnover and people standing, a Quest 3 is still more practical — on and off in seconds, with no cable to gather up between attendees. We will tell you straight before quoting.
How much will they cost to hire?
We do not know yet. Meta has announced a $1,299.99 retail price, but there is no euro price and no Spanish distribution date. As soon as we have units and a real cost we will publish the rate, as we do with every other device.
What content will they run?
Meta has announced 3D cinema with IMAX and Disney+, more than a hundred immersive live sports events a year with ESPN, MLB and UFC, over seventy-five games playable with your hands alone, and Xbox Cloud Gaming. For a corporate event the interesting part is the rest: they turn any surface into a desk and they run your own content, which is what we build.
Can you develop custom content for them?
Yes — it is what we have done for ten years with every platform that has launched. As soon as Meta publishes the development kit we start porting. If you have a project for 2027, tell us now and we will plan it with time to spare.
