Michelin wanted to show its plant and its production processes to people who cannot walk into a working factory.
The process
How we approached this project
Phase 02
The opportunity
Access to a working industrial plant is limited by safety and by logistics. A 360º recording lets you show it without stopping production or exposing anyone to the working area.
Phase 05
The solution
A 360º virtual walkthrough of a working industrial plant, available in a headset and on the usual platforms, showing the factory without setting foot in it.
Phase 03
The work
The shoot covers the outside of the site and the production halls, following the plant’s marked routes and observing its safety protocols and walkways throughout.
Phase 04
The result
The footage takes you from the plant entrance through to the production lines and the product storage areas, at the true scale of a working industrial site.
