The project

360º awareness film on violence against women

Las Naves, the innovation centre of Valencia City Council, needed virtual reality equipment and technical staff to screen a 360º awareness film during one of its own events.

The process

How we approached this project

Phase 01

Objective

Screen a 360º awareness film on violence against women in virtual reality, with a technical team looking after every single attendee throughout the day.

Phase 02

The opportunity

The film had to be watched in a headset rather than on a screen, because immersion was part of the message: watching a scene is not the same as standing inside it. Las Naves needed both the equipment and the people to run it.

Phase 05

The solution

Virtual reality equipment hire with technicians on site. We supplied the headsets, the setup, the synchronised playback and one-to-one support for every user, so that Las Naves could concentrate on the content and on its audience.

Phase 03

The work

We worked with synchronised Samsung Gear VR headsets and technicians on the floor. Each attendee was handed a headset ready to go, with the film loaded and the audio set, so the experience began the moment they put it on.

Phase 04

The result

The event ran without interruption and with a continuous turnover of visitors. Seen in 360º, the film achieves a level of engagement that a conventional screening cannot reach.
